At the Sacramento Gay & Lesbian Center, we thrive on the interest and involvement of our community. Regardless of your age or background, chances are we have a volunteer activity just right for you. As a volunteer, you can:
- Help with the Sacramento Pride Festival
- Serve on a Center Committee
- Facilitate a group
- Start a new program
- Greet guests at the Center front desk
- Work on a fundraiser
- So many other opportunities!
How do I become a volunteer?
The first step to volunteering is to submit an application.
The second step is to attend an orientation.
The next orientation is scheduled for April 21 from 1 to 2 PM. Here you will receive a volunteer handbook and information on upcoming events. You’ll receive monthly emails that list our upcoming volunteer
opportunities.

If you do not email me, you will not be
scheduled.
