Mission Statement

The Men’s Discussion Group is a place where gay, bisexual, transgender (female-to-male) and questioning individuals (GBTQ) can feel comfortable expressing themselves regarding relationships, “coming out,” and other issues faced by gay men. We share, listen, and emphasize positive self-image and self-confidence as we assist our peers in combating societal and internalized homophobia.

Vision Statement

The Men’s Discussion Group is a destination to GBTQ men who can meet others with whom they find similar interests and concerns regarding their sexuality. We reach out to others for friendship, support and camaraderie. We provide an environment unlike anywhere else in the Sacramento region, where we can speak freely about relationships and sexuality issues in an environment that is free of agendas, either personal or social, involving religion, politics, moral values, or any other preconceptions.
