The Center has collaborated with CARES to provide free HIV rapid testing on Second Saturdays at the Center from 6:00 to 10:00pm. Testing is done by employees of CARES. No blood is required to be drawn. The test take swabs inside his/her cheek, then the swab is tested. Results take about 20 minutes to produce and counseling is provided. Any positive test result is considered preliminary, needing to be followed up with a blood test.
