SUMMARY:South SaQ Trans Resource Fair
DESCRIPTION:We’re bringing back our South SaQ Trans Resource Fair in honor of Transgender Awareness Week! Join us on Saturday\, November 15th\, 11am-2pm at the Marsha P. Johnson Center South (7725 Stockton Blvd\, suite O) for community resources\, giveaways\, haircuts\, and gender-affirming supplies\, including free binders while supplies last. For people seeking legal name and gender marker changes\, we’ll provide paperwork and get you prepped for an appointment with a lawyer to submit it. We’ll also take time to reflect on and remember our trans ancestors and write letters to support transgender people who are incarcerated. And back by popular demand\, Alyssa’s Transgender Voice Training will be leading a workshop starting at noon! \nReach out to Advocacy@saccenter.org with any questions.
