DESCRIPTION:Listen to live music\, eat free food\, get your flu shot\, and meet the people working at HIV servicing organizations\n\n\n\nThis annual event serves as a reminder of the global struggle to end HIV-related stigma\, an opportunity to honor those we have lost\, and a rallying cry to continue working toward a day when HIV is no longer a public health threat. \nThis event will include: \n\nLive music\nA free meal (while food lasts)\nKaiser flu clinic\nHIV serving organizations tabling their resources\nKeynote speakers\nVideo Art Presentation led by youth on the history of the AIDS epidemic\nA candlelight vigil to remember those we lost to AIDS\n\nJoin the community for this once a year event as we remember those we have lost\, honor those who have survived\, and educate the rest on the impact the HIV epidemic has had on this community. \nDoors Open at 6:30 pm\nProgram at 7:30 pm\nCandlelight Vigil at 9:00 pm \nFree parking available in Parking Structure II of Sacramento State after 6pm. \nPresented by The Sacramento Prevention Coalition\, The University Union of Sacramento State\, SIN (Strength In Numbers) Sacramento\, Gilead Sciences and ViiV Healthcare. \n\n\n\n\n\nRegister here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/world-aids-day-2025-tickets-1918243490919?aff=oddtdtcreator
