Q-Prom is a prom held for LGBTQ+ & allied youth ages 13-20 only. Q-Prom is free and a safe space for youth to live their authentic truth while having the prom night of their dreams!
Many youth don’t experience their traditional school prom or dances, because of fear. Our youth shouldn’t feel afraid to be able to attend a school dance or function just for being themselves. This is why the Sacramento LGBT Community Center hosts this free prom for youth; so everyone can have an extravagant night of joy. This year, our theme is the Dark Decadence Ball!
On November 8th, dress up in your best ball attire or costume (because Halloween is never over), and dance the night away! There will be Drag performances, an amazing DJ, photobooths, food and refreshments, and a lifetime of memories.
When: November 8th, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
