The Sacramento LGBT Community Center has benefited from the thoughtful giving of many, many individuals who, through their generosity, supported the diverse programs offered at the Center. From senior programs to life-saving referrals, the Center impacts its community, region, and state.
Passionate, dedicated, and determined individuals built the Lambda Legacy Circle to ensure the Center’s vital services are offered in the future by funding its endowment fund at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation. This giving circle is a way for loyal Center supporters to give in perpetuity and ensure the Center continues to empower and engage the Sacramento LGBTQ+ community.
Legacy giving, also known as planned or deferred giving, occurs when an individual plans now to make a charitable gift from their estate after their passing. This can even lessen the inheritance tax burden on their heirs.
