The Perfect Place for Your Next Function

We are a community hub and gathering space in times of celebration and tragedy. We provide access to information and resources on our community bulletin boards and through our on-site computer lab. The Lambda Lounge and Lambda Room are available at low to no-cost for community groups to use for their board meetings, events, support programs, or other community engagement purposes. To inquire about using space, call the Center or send us an email.

Thank you for considering the Sacramento LGBT Community Center as the place to hold your meeting or special event. Creating a safe and welcoming space where community members, organizations, and groups can connect is an important part of the work that we do. We are proud that we are able to provide meeting space at low rates as a service to the community. We offer three different sized spaces to rent:

LoungeFullThe Lambda Lounge is on our main floor and includes optional kitchen and computer station use. This space can hold up to 49 people in a reception setting, but for classroom or theater layouts for presentations with tables and a projector, we do not suggest more than 20.

The space is also ADA accessible, has an attached gender-neutral restroom and WiFi. The Center’s front balcony and back patio with a grill are also available to add on to a rental to accommodate more guests.

The Center has a limited number of tables, chairs, sofas, and projection equipment to support a variety of functions.

LambdaRomInterior Located on the second floor of the Center, The Lambda Room is ideal for meetings, small conferences, focus groups, and support groups.

The room is equipped with configurable tables, chairs, white board, WiFi, and a television for DVD or CD presentations. A gender-neutral restroom is located on the second floor, but the space is not ADA accessible.

This room will seat up 20 people in a conference setting with no space dedicated for a presentation. With presentation, recommended capacity is 15 people.

The youth space is perfect for small gatherings, and has WiFi, a flat screen tv, computer, and plenty of couches and pillows. This space does not have restroom access and works better when used in conjunction with another space.

Nestled on the back of the Center with ramp access and Midtown views, the patio can be used with the Lambda Lounge or as a separate venue. Benches, a picnic table, and a grill are included with the space.
