The Perfect Place for Your Next Function

The Center has always been gathering space in times of celebration and tragedy and hub for cultural activities. We provide access to information and resources on our community bulletin boards and through our on-site computer lab and free Wi-Fi. We offer a variety of meeting and event spaces at low to no-cost for groups to use for their board meetings, events, support programs, celebrations, or other community engagement purposes. To inquire about using space at the Center, send us an email, call, or drop in to see us.

Thank you for considering the Sacramento LGBT Community Center as the place to hold your meeting or special event. Creating a safe and welcoming space where community members, organizations, and groups can connect is an important part of the work that we do. We offer multiple spaces to rent:

The Community Room is our largest meeting space and includes optional microwave and television use. This space can hold up to 45 people in a reception setting, but for classroom or theater layouts for presentations with tables and a projector, we do not suggest more than 30.

The space is also ADA accessible, has access to gender-neutral restrooms and WiFi.

The Center has a limited number of tables, chairs, sofas, and projection equipment to support a variety of functions.

Located on the second floor of the Center, The Conference Room is ideal for meetings, small conferences, focus groups, and support groups.

The room is equipped with configurable tables, chairs, white board, WiFi, and a television for presentations. The space has access to two gender-neutral restrooms, a microwave and is ADA accessible.

This room will seat up 25 people in a conference setting with no space dedicated for a presentation. With presentation, recommended capacity is 20 people.

The youth space is perfect for small gatherings, and has WiFi, a flat screen tv, computers, a art station and plenty of couches and pillows. This space has access to two gender neutral restrooms.

Nestled in the back of the Center, the Patio  is notably one of the quietest spots in the Center. This makes for a great outdoor work-space if you ever want to take a break from the indoors. The Patio is ADA accessible, has WiFi, a table and chairs are included with the space. Take a breath of fresh air by working in our Patio.

The Founders Room is great for hosting small meetings or hosting support group meetings. The room is equipped with tables, chairs, a couch, a telephone and a white board. This space fits 6 people comfortably with a maximum capacity of 10.

Some additional features at the Center include:

  • Gender-neutral restrooms
  • WiFi access with computers (Q-Spot & Lobby)
  • Elevator access to the main floor
  • Shower
  • Outdoor Patio
