Did you know the new Census deadline is September 30?! We must achieve an accurate 2020 Census count by September 30 to help protect the wellbeing of our LGBTQ+ communities! A complete Census will help ensure we have the data we need to provide funding for many health and wellness programs that support our communities which are critical especially during COVID-19. An accurate census count is needed to get the funding Sacramento County needs to finance programs for our LGBTQ+ community as well. Never has completing the census been more important. Make sure EVERYONE counts. Each person counted in the 2020 Census can bring in at least $10,000 for the next decade.
WE NEED YOUR HELP.
How? Encourage people who haven’t filled out their questionnaires to do it now. Join us in spreading the word via social media. Share the posts below or follow us (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) to share what we post throughout the week!
Our LGBTQ+ community is stronger together, because together we can build a better future where ALL of our identities are counted.
