June 2018: Blue Shield of California had a blast at this year’s Sac Pride Parade and Celebration. Our family of employees across the state wanted to help create the best celebration of Pride that Sacramento has ever held.
And it was a huge success – with some wonderful weather, too.
Shield Pride, an internal Employee Resource Group at Blue Shield of California, propelled the Company’s involvement in 2018 Sac Pride. Shield Pride’s 350 members are driven by their commitment to educate staff on what it’s like to be LGBTQ+ today and how to best support co-workers, friends, and families in the community.
